Brussels Small Car - Nicely balanced shot of this little car. Background is slightly blurred and the bright white body of the car draws the eye in to the two very worried looking owners - wonder what they were thinking about.

Brussels - This shot of a lovely cathedral in Brussels was taken on a warm and sunny day in October. The shot is taken at a fairly wide angle which gives a great feeling of height and perspective. The plane flying over head adds to the sense of vertigo that I felt.

Cloud Portrait - Dark Blue. My obsession with clouds continues. This one I tweaked on the computer, increasing the shadow and midtone. The gradiant effect is natural and with the bubbling storm clouds this shot is dramatic.

Driving too fast - this photo truely makes me feel sick. Slow shutter speed, low iso film, had to take about 15 shots before I got one without too much blurring in the car cabin.

Lancing Beach Scene - The rain had past over head and was coming over the sea in a dramatic dark plume.

Beach Huts Portrait - I like this better in some ways, although the scene did not lend itself to portrait, I managed to capture all the huts without complicating the picture too much. The storm is coming in fast, it was a good job I had the hut to shelter under.

Beach Huts - There was a storm brewing and this rather textbook shot just had to be taken.

Thing to make you go hmm

Did you know that Rosalind Franklin was the woman behind Watson and Crick's doudle helix DNA model. She did all the experiments, but died before she was paid credit. Watson and Crick merely took her results and interpreted it.
